 Cathy Scott and Colleen Johnson originally founded the WTC in 2003. In 2010 we brought Krista Voitchovsky onboard to help us grow!

Many women approached us wanting to travel but they did not have a built in travel partner. Either they were single or husbands, partners or girlfriends were not available to travel or not interested in the same destination they wanted to experience. The high cost of paying single supplements, personal safety issues or fear of travelling alone prevented many of these women from pursuing thier travel dreams.

We also noticed that Women travel differently than men do!  We are multi taskers and  typically the caregivers at home . Travelling without children, husbands or partners allows us to relax, unwind and enjoy the moment! 75% of those who take cultural, adventure or nature trips are women. We want to do it all and we want to do it our way! So the Women's Travel Connection was born.

Since that time we have travelled with or sent hundreds of women on tours all over the world.  It has been a truly amazing experience and we are priviledged to have met incredible women of all ages and backgrounds.
